Prof. Asoc. Dr. Rezarta Demneri është diplomuar në vitin 2004 me rezultate të larta pranë Fakultetit të Drejtësisë, Universiteti i Tiranës (FDUT). Në vitet 2006 dhe 2007 ka zhvilluar studimet pasuniversitare në dy programe studimi “Master i Nivelit të Dytë” pranë Fakultetit të Drejtësisë, Universiteti i Bolonjës. Në vitin 2014, fitoi gradën shkencore “Doktor” pranë FDUT-së me tezë disertacioni të titulluar “Përgjegjësia Penale e Mjekut – Aspekte Krahasuese me Normativën Penale Italiane”, vlerësuar me 100/100. Ka kryer studimet postdoktorale në të drejtë penale dhe të drejtë biomjekësore pranë Dipartimento di Scienze Giuridiche, Università di Bologna, Itali (2017, 2019) dhe pranë Europa-Institut, Universität des Saarlandes, Gjermani (2018). Në korrik 2021 ka fituar titullin akademik “Profesor i Asociuar” për kontributin në fushën e së drejtës penale dhe atë biomjekësore. Është autore, ndër të tjera, e dy monografive shkencore titulluar “E Drejta për të Përfituar Kujdes Shëndetësor – Një Qasje Ndërdisiplinore” (2021) dhe “Përgjegjësia Penale e Mjekut nga Pakujdesia në Mjekim në Perspektivën e së Drejtës së Krahasuar” (2021). Prof. Asoc. Dr. Rezarta zhvillon mësimdhënien pranë FDUT-së në lëndët “E Drejtë Penale (pjesa e posaçme)” prej vitit 2008, “E Drejtë Biomjekësore” prej vitit 2014 (Titullare) dhe “Metoda të Kërkimit Shkencor” prej vitit 2012 (Titullare). Zotërimi i njohurive të avancuara të gjuhës italiane dhe asaj angleze, i mundësojnë të konceptojë dhe të zhvillojë produkte kërkimore – shkencore në tre gjuhë. Që prej shtator 2014, ajo është e angazhuar si recensente shkencore e punimeve të parashtruara pranë Revistës Shqiptare Social-Ekonomike.

Prof. Asoc. Dr. Rezarta Demneri holds a Jurist degree at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana (FDUT, 2004) and two 2nd level Master’s degrees at the University of Bologna in “International Jurists” (2006) and “Tax Law A. Berliri” (2007). In 2014, she was awarded a Ph.D. degree with a dissertation thesis on “The Criminal Liability of the Physician – Comparative Perspectives with the Italian Regulation”, with an evaluation of 100/100. She has been a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Juridical Sciences at the University of Bologna (2017, 2019) as well as at the Europa – Institut, University of Saarland (2018) focusing on criminal law and medical law. Rezarta has been a full-time Lecturer of criminal law at FDUT since 2008 and was awarded on July 2021 the academic title “Associated Professor” (Prof. Asoc.) for her contribution in the field of criminal law and medical law. Prof. Asoc. Dr. Rezarta Demneri has authored several scientific papers as well as two monographs published in 2021 titled “The right to healthcare: An interdisciplinary approach” and “A comparative law perspective on the criminal liability of the physician from medical negligence”.
The main areas of research interest and publications of Prof. Asoc. Dr. Demneri pertain to comparative criminal law and medical law, this last being introduced by her in 2014 as a non-compulsory course in the Bachelor Program at FDUT. Since September 2014, she has been engaged in the peer-review process for the “Albanian Socio-Economic Review” (Tirana, Albania) and also teaches Scientific Research Methods at FDUT. Besides her native language, Prof. Asoc. Dr. Rezarta Demneri is fluent in English and in Italian and has participated in several international training courses and seminars abroad.
