We are happy to announce the call for applications for the 4th Summer School about “Current Issues in Human Rights Law”, within the framework of the DAAD funded Thematic network “SEE | EU Cluster of Excellence in European and International Law. The summer school will take place from 29th June until 6th July 2019 at the Europa-Institut of Saarland University.
The summer school is targeted at PhD candidates and advanced master studies from your respective institutions interested in the aforementioned topics. Renowned professors and experts on these topics, both from Germany and South Eastern Europe will give lectures during the summer school. Lectures will take place mostly in the morning and early afternoon so that the participants will have the possibility to conduct research in the library of the Europa-Institut afterwards.
We are happy to inform you that the project covers travel (to a certain country-determined lump sum) and accommodation costs as well as an excursion to either the European Court of Justice in Luxemburg or the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg (depending on the more interesting cases).
Hereby we would like to kindly ask you to publish the call for application within your respective faculties and to encourage your PhD and master students to apply to participate in our summer school. The deadline for application is 19th of May 2019. We will extend the deadline in case of few applications but we want to give the applicants the possibility to plan their trip.
